During this operation, clashes broke out, resulting in the killing and injury of several terrorists, while one southern soldier was martyred.
This operation is part of a broader campaign aimed at cleansing Abyan of terrorist organizations, particularly following a series of attacks targeting Southern forces in the region. Earlier, Southern Transitional Council (STC) forces were subjected to a terrorist armed attack in Abyan, leading to casualties.
