The Director General of Security and Police in Hadramout Coast, Brigadier General Mutee’ Saeed Al-Minhali, has raised the level of vigilance and preparedness across all security units, stressing the importance of discipline and maximum readiness to protect the area and citizens from any threat.

During his speech this morning at the general parade for departments, sectors, and security units in the governorate, Brigadier General Al-Minhali emphasized the need to elevate the pace of readiness and discipline in various centers and units. He clarified that the current phase requires unity and high preparedness to face increasing challenges and attempts to undermine security and stability in Hadramout Coast. Brigadier General Al-Minhali pointed out that the attempted assassination of the Director of Criminal Investigation in Hadramout represents a serious wake-up call, affirming that the security services dealt with the incident with high seriousness from the very first moment, launching targeted security campaigns aimed at criminal hideouts and lawless elements. He noted that these campaigns are ongoing and will not stop.

He explained that the inspection and raid campaigns will not be limited to the city of Mukalla but will expand to include other districts, as part of a comprehensive plan aimed at drying up the sources of crime and striking sleeper cells attempting to destabilize security from behind the scenes. He also warned of the threat posed by Houthi militias, who are attempting to undermine the achievements that have been made.

Brigadier General Al-Minhali said: “The security services will not allow any criminal element to tamper with the security of Hadramout. We will strike with an iron fist anyone who dares to compromise the safety of citizens or attempt to target state institutions, foremost among them the security institution which we are responsible for protecting.”

He pointed out that the General Security Directorate has prepared a comprehensive plan to train all personnel from various departments, units, and sectors, and to raise their professional and physical competencies through intensive training programs scheduled to launch in the coming period.

Brigadier General Al-Minhali confirmed that the security services operate purely on national principles and categorically reject any political interference in their work. He stated: “Political differences do not concern us. Our presence in the security institution is to serve Hadramout and its citizens, and security personnel must stay away from any political involvement.” He stressed that any deviation from this path will be met with strict measures.

In conclusion, Brigadier General Al-Minhali praised the efforts of the Criminal Investigation and Intelligence officers as well as Mukalla police, commending the significant role they played in the successful raid operation carried out two days ago, which resulted in the arrest of several wanted individuals. He confirmed that these results reflect the security alertness and tight coordination between the various security units in maintaining security and stability in the city.
