President Al-Zubaidi: The Liberation of Al-Dhalea Will Remain a Milestone in Our People's Struggle towards Independence

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council and Vice President of the Presidential Leadership Council, affirmed that the liberation of Al-Dhalea governorate on May 25, 2015, will remain a milestone in the our southern people's struggle for independence.

This came in a statement posted on his social media accounts on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of Al-Dhalea's liberation. The full text of the statement:

"At dawn on the 25th of May 2015, the sun of liberation rose over the proud mountains of Al-Dhale. This glorious day will forever remain a landmark in the history of our southern people’s struggle for independence, a day whose glory was written by the hands of heroic southern resistance fighters, who with their pure blood marked the beginning of victory against the Iranian project in our Arab region. These victories continued with the same spirit, momentum, and glorious cohesion, with the same importance, impact and dimensions at the national and regional levels, in the capital Aden, Abyan, Lahj, and Shabwa, culminating in a great triumph during one of the most pivotal battles of our existential national struggle against terrorism in Hadramout, the bastion of dignity and the enduring source of inspiration for our people's peaceful and military resistance and Struggle.."
