Amid the political and economic challenges facing the country, President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi continues to lead intensive efforts to enhance stability in the capital, Aden, improve infrastructure, and strengthen the South’s relations with the international community. In recent days, these efforts have translated into a series of diplomatic and developmental initiatives, including the launch of new projects and ongoing coordination with international partners to support economic recovery and sustainable development in liberated areas.

As part of these efforts, President Al-Zubaidi officially inaugurated the "Aden Tourism Guide" in both its print and electronic versions under the slogan "Aden: History and Tourism." This project aims to highlight the city's historical and cultural heritage, attract tourism investments, and support local economic activities. The initiative comes at a time when the South needs developmental projects to boost its resources and revitalize the tourism sector, which remains a vital pillar of the economy.

Simultaneously, the President continues his diplomatic engagements to strengthen international partnerships. He recently received the Head of the European Union (EU) Mission to Yemen and the Ambassadors of France and the Netherlands at the Presidential Palace in Ma’ashiq to discuss political and economic developments, particularly in light of the U.S. decision to reclassify the Houthi militia as a terrorist organization. During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi emphasized the necessity of intensifying international efforts to support institutional building and enhance stability, stressing the need for the EU to play a greater role in supporting economic recovery and financing developmental projects that contribute to improving living conditions.

The discussions also covered the severe humanitarian and economic consequences of the ongoing war, especially following repeated Houthi attacks on vital infrastructure, which have significantly disrupted the country's main revenue streams, particularly oil exports. President Al-Zubaidi underscored the urgent need for international intervention to halt these aggressions and exert pressure on the Houthis to stop their escalatory actions, which are exacerbating the economic crisis in the South.

On the humanitarian front, President Al-Zubaidi directed the Presidential Committee to secure emergency fuel supplies for Aden’s electricity sector to ensure an uninterrupted power supply during the holy month of Ramadan. This initiative aims to alleviate the suffering of citizens amid a worsening energy crisis. It is part of broader efforts to find sustainable solutions to the electricity issue, which remains one of the most pressing challenges for residents of Aden.

These recent actions reflect a comprehensive strategy by the Southern leadership to navigate the current situation combining diplomatic efforts to strengthen the South’s political standing with developmental initiatives to improve basic services and achieve long-term economic stability. Despite the significant challenges ahead, these measures outline a roadmap toward a more stable future for the South, bolstered by international support and a strengthened institutional framework.
