The Security Belt forces participate in military operations aimed at securing Abyan Governorate from the threat of terrorist groups linked to Al-Qaeda. In addition to implementing security campaigns that contribute to establishing stability and normalizing the situation in Aden, Lahj, and Al-Dhalea. The Brigadier General Wali stressed the necessity of continuing the security campaign in the capital, Aden, to prevent motorcycles, carrying unlicensed weapons, and unnumbered cars, stressing that the Security Belt forces are actively participating in the campaign alongside other security forces as part of plans aimed at enhancing stability and preserving public tranquility. This came during his chairmanship, on Monday, of a meeting with the directors of the general departments of the Security Belt Forces, to review the progress of work, performance, and job discipline, stressing the importance of implementing security campaigns in establishing foundations of security and stability in the capital, Aden, and the rest of the governorates. He pointed to the continuity of the process of training and qualifying members of the Security Belt forces internally and externally, and paying attention to them with the aim of developing military and security skills and capabilities, stressing the importance of the stage that the south is going through, which requires redoubling efforts at all levels.
