President Al-Zubaidi Visits Al-Dhalea and Meets with governorate's Leaders

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council and Vice President of the Presidential Leadership Council, paid an inspection visit to Al-Dhalea Governorate on Saturday.

During the visit, President Al-Zubaidi, accompanied by ministers from the Southern Transitional Council in the government, several members of the STC Presidency, heads of auxiliary bodies, and senior security and military leaders, held an extensive meeting with the local authority, STC leaders, military and security commanders, and prominent social figures in the governorate.

At the beginning of his speech, President Al-Zubaidi extended his congratulations to the people of Al-Dhalea on the occasion of the holy month, emphasizing that his visit was part of his commitment to understanding the concerns and conditions of the governorate’s residents, addressing their issues, and assessing their needs. He praised the immense sacrifices made by Al-Dhalea since the beginning of the southern liberation revolution.

He stated, "Al-Dhalea has made significant sacrifices in the revolution and resistance. Here, the Iranian-backed Houthi project was broken, thanks to the sacrifices of its sons, alongside the heroes from Radfan, Yafa, Al-Sabiha, Lahj, Aden, and other southern governorates."

President Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of cohesion, cooperation, and teamwork to advance the governorate and serve its people. He also directed the STC ministers in the government to take up the concerns of Al-Dhalea within their respective responsibilities.

He continued, "We recognize the extent of suffering our people in Al-Dhalea endure and the challenges faced by the governorate's leadership due to scarce resources and lack of capabilities. However, this does not absolve us of our duty to provide what we can to the citizens with the available resources and within the existing limitations."

In conclusion, President Al-Zubaidi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates for their steadfast support and solidarity with the South, affirming that their positions will remain etched in the memory of the southern people for generations to come.
