President of the National Assembly Meets with Sheikh of Yafa'a Tribes in Coastal Hadhramaut, Sheikh Salem Hassan Al-Saadi, and His Accompanying Delegation in Mukalla

On Monday evening, Professor Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, President of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, met at his residence in the city of Mukalla with a delegation of sheikhs from the Yafa'a tribes in Coastal Hadhramaut, led by Sheikh Salem Hassan Al-Saadi, the Sheikh of Sheikhs of the Yafa'a Tribes in Coastal Hadhramaut.

Al-Kathiri welcomed the Yafa'a tribal sheikhs from Coastal Hadhramaut, praising the significant role played by southern tribes in general, and the Yafa'a tribal sheikhs in particular, alongside all the tribal leaders of Hadhramaut, in promoting stability, harmony, and rejecting any attempts to fracture the social fabric across Hadhramaut.

He emphasized that the Southern Transitional Council, under the leadership of President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, is engaged in battles on multiple fronts military, political, and the economic front, which is being given great importance.

Al-Kathiri stressed the need to unify ranks in confronting the terrorist Houthi militia, which has become a major threat to the world, endangering international shipping lanes and seeking to create chaos and conflict across all southern governorates.

For their part, the Yafa'a tribal sheikhs of Coastal Hadhramaut reaffirmed their unwavering support for the Southern Transitional Council, under the leadership of President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi. They asserted that their stance is firmly rooted in their commitment alongside all the people of Hadhramaut to the objectives of achieving southern independence as a homeland, a state, and an identity.

The meeting was attended by several Yafa'a tribal sheikhs from Coastal Hadhramaut, including Sheikh Awad bin Awad Al-Sharfi, Sheikh Ahmed Hussein Al-Yahri, Sheikh Fahmi bin Ali Al-Haj, Brigadier General Iskandar Saleh Al-Tufi, Brigadier General Mohammed Ali Al-Yazidi, Sheikh Abdullah Hussein Al-Saadi, and Sheikh Salah Al-Yahri.
