President of the Executive Body of the Southern Transitional Council in Hadramout Meets Delegation from Al-Sumouh Tribes

The President of the Executive Body of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Hadramout Governorate, Brigadier General Saeed Ahmed Al-Mohamadi, met today, Sunday, at his office in the city of Mukalla, with a delegation from the Al-Sumouh tribes headed by Commander Hussein Saeed Al-Soumouhi.

During the meeting which was also attended by Al-Mansib Omar Alawi Al-Shatari, member of the STC’s National Assembly Commander Saeed Ba’awadh Al-Mohamadi, Head of the STC Executive in Mukalla Commander Mahdi Saeed Al-Mohamadi, and Ali Salem Al-Soumouhi—Al-Mohamadi emphasized the importance of unifying the Hadrami front at this critical time. He stressed the need to confront the challenges facing Hadramout and to secure the governorate’s legitimate and just rights in all areas, including allowing its sons to manage their administrative, security, and military affairs themselves.

Al-Mohamadi praised the vital and influential role played by all Hadrami tribes in general, and the Al-Sumouh tribes in particular, highlighting their steadfast stance on the cause of the South and their support for the Southern Transitional Council led by President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi and his efforts to restore the fully sovereign southern state within its pre-1990 borders.

For his part, Commander Al-Soumouhi expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Head of the Hadramout STC Executive for the warm reception and for listening attentively to their concerns and the issues affecting various segments of Hadrami society. He reaffirmed the unwavering position of the Al-Sumouh tribes in supporting the Southern Transitional Council under the leadership of President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi.

The meeting discussed the most pressing issues and concerns currently facing Hadramout, particularly the economic warfare affecting citizens, which calls for urgent intervention and solutions. The participants also warned against dragging Hadramout into a cycle of chaos, sedition, and tribal conflict.
