President Aidrous Al-Zubaidi: The Liberation of Al-Dhalea in 2015 Crushed the Illusions of Invaders and Projects of Domination Under the Feet of Southern Resistance Heroes

President Aidrous Qassem Al-Zubaidi affirmed that the spark of liberation that erupted at dawn on May 25, 2015, from the mountains of Al-Dhalea shattered the illusions of the invading Houthi terrorist militias backed by Iran, and brought down projects of domination and expansion under the feet of the heroes of the Southern Resistance, who wrote the greatest epics of sacrifice and heroism.

In a speech marking the 11th anniversary of the liberation of Al-Dhalea Governorate, Al-Zubaidi stated that Al-Dhalea has always been a symbol of steadfastness and courage, and that the victories achieved there represented a historic turning point in the course of the Southern national struggle.

He added that the will of the Southern people, which triumphed on the battlefields, will remain unbreakable despite attempts by some traditional forces, supported by regional parties, to impose guardianship on the Southern people or pass incomplete projects that do not fulfill their aspirations to restore their state and full sovereignty over their land.

Al-Zubaidi stressed that the people of the South are steadily moving toward restoring their fully sovereign state across all their internationally recognized national territory, emphasizing that the South will remain, as history has always known it, a “graveyard for invaders,” and that its pure land will never become a passage for foreign agendas or tools of domination.

The President pointed out that the 11th anniversary of the liberation of Al-Dhalea comes at a critical and pivotal stage in the Southern struggle, carrying clear messages to forces hostile to the Southern people that the will of Southerners is stronger than all challenges, and that the Southern cause is becoming more deeply rooted and present day after day.

Al-Zubaidi also praised the massive popular momentum witnessed across the Southern governorates in recent days, noting that the expanded meetings of the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council reflected the scale of public support surrounding the Council as the political representative of the Southern national project.

The President renewed the pledge to the martyrs and wounded heroes to continue on their path until full independence is achieved, affirming that the South, whose land has been watered with the blood of martyrs, will never again become hostage to any foreign project, and that the flag of South Arabia will remain flying high until complete independence is attained.

Al-Zubaidi concluded his speech by praying for mercy upon the martyrs, wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded, and affirming that glory will always belong to the South and its struggling people.
