President Al-Zubaidi arrives in Aden Capital and inaugurates the second phase of the 120-megawatt solar energy project

President Commander Aidarous Qasim Al-Zubaidi arrived in Aden Capital today. Upon his arrival, he inaugurated the second phase of the 120-megawatt solar power plant project, funded by the United Arab Emirates.

President Al-Zubaidi arrived in Shabwa Governorate this afternoon, where he inaugurated the operation of the 53-megawatt solar power plant project in the city of Ataq, provided by the United Arab Emirates as part of its development programs supporting the governorates of South.

The second phase of the solar energy project includes 120 megawatts, which will be added to the first phase, making the Aden Capital plant 240 megawatts.

The second phase of the Aden plant also includes 30 megawatts of night storage.
