Southern Transitional Council Warns Violence Will Worsen Security in South Yemen

The Southern Transitional Council (STC) has warned that ongoing violence in southern Yemen will further deteriorate the security situation, stressing that political solutions are essential to address current crises.

STC spokesperson Anwar Al-Tamimi told Sky News Arabia that “violence begets violence”, emphasizing that resorting to force will not bring stability but will instead escalate tensions and increase security risks.

This statement comes amid mounting security challenges in southern governorates, where political, economic, and humanitarian factors intersect. Local and international voices continue to call for peaceful solutions to protect civilians and strengthen stability in the region.
