Former Prime Minister Imran Khan's conversation with journalists in Adiala Jail along with lawyers:

  "We have given the government until Sunday, December 22, if the government does not show seriousness to our demands by tomorrow, then the first phase of our civil disobedience movement, the boycott of remittances, will begin, which this incompetent government  A heavy price will have to be paid.   They have no idea how deadly the civil disobedience movement will prove to be for this fake government.   If the government is serious about our demands, it should start negotiations immediately. 

  It has been a month since the Islamabad massacre and if there was a civilized society the killers would have met their end, while here even a judicial commission has not been formed - many of our people are missing, unless we have details with photos of our missing people.  They will not believe anything of the government until they share where they are.

  Instead of punishing political workers through military courts, it is better to formally declare martial law in the country - those responsible for May 9 are those who stole the CCTV footage - those who shot at people are the same.  Judges, juries and executioners are also sentencing.   This is not democracy, it is the law of the jungle.

  Our second demand is an independent investigation of May 9, for which we have repeatedly demanded the Supreme Court - on May 9, more than two dozen of our workers were also shot dead.   We have made the details of 15 public.   Moreover, hundreds of our workers were shot that day - not a single soldier or policeman was killed, so how did terrorism happen?   Does the peaceful protest of the people of Nahti fall under the category of terrorism or shooting them directly?

  I know what the decision of the Al-Qadir Trust University case is going to be, here all the decisions are already written - Three decisions were pronounced against me in Adiala Jail, all three decisions were overturned in the higher courts because all the cases were false and baseless -  It is not me but the country that is losing due to the irresponsibility of the government.

  Mourning is going on in people's homes, if there is any compulsion of our people, negotiate in a closed room, don't want to take pictures with the murderers and facilitators of November 26 massacre.

  Our arrested people are kept in tents in Attock Jail in extreme cold which is not only against law but also against humanity.   Our teams of ILF lawyers become more active and provide relief to them- 

  We hoped that after the departure of Qazi Fire Isa, we will get justice from the Supreme Court, but the mafia has taken over the judiciary by amending the constitution by kidnapping members of parliament and now the judiciary is being used for political revenge-  Pakistan can only avoid investment, but due to the lack of rule of law in Pakistan, no one is willing to invest and the situation is getting worse day by day - the national interest is coming in the way of personal ego and extension.   The only way to improve the situation is to hand over power to a representative party of the people to pave the way for political and consequently economic stability."
