President Al-Zubaidi Reaffirms Path Toward Independence During Communication with the Southern Community in New York

The President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, reaffirmed the commitment to achieving the aspirations of the people of the South during a phone call to a meeting of the Southern community in New York, USA.

Al-Zubaidi stated that the Council is "moving forward with firm determination toward the goal of independence and the restoration of the state," praising the support of the Southern community abroad and their standing alongside what he described as the "just cause."

Emphasis on Commitment to the Political Path

Al-Zubaidi stressed that the Council will not retreat from its goals, emphasizing the possession of "will and patience" to achieve what he termed the "desired victory," referring to the restoration of the Southern state within its former borders.

Call to Participate in the Ninth Anniversary. 

The Council President called on the people of the South, at home and abroad, to participate in the events commemorating the ninth anniversary of the founding of the Southern Transitional Council, scheduled for May 4, noting that events will be organized across various Southern governorates.

Ongoing Diplomatic Efforts. 

Al-Zubaidi's remarks come amid diplomatic movements led by the Council, as a delegation headed by Amr Al-Bidh held meetings with officials and research centers in Washington and New York. These meetings aimed to present developments in the situation in Southern Yemen and enhance communication with international partners.
